ABAP is the de-facto language of SAP and SAP itself is written mostly in ABAP. ABAP lays the foundation for further technologies in SAP like WebDynpro, Business Server Pages ( BSP ). ABAP is a very extensive language with many extensions and we will cover all of them slowly on a week-by-week basis.
SYST Structure in SAP
SYST structure (Referred to in ABAP by the shortcut SY ) is informally called the “sigh” structure. It contains a lot of system information that is very useful in ABAP programming.
