When I am trying to create a new material master, after selecting the views, the system does not prompt me to choose sales org, distribution channel and division. This does not allow me to view all fields in sales org data.

Yesterday I was working on an existing material and to get through it, I feel i may have selected default value or some other option. Can you please advise how do I reset it back.

      Hi Sanjay
I believe you have clicked on the button ‘Organization Levels’ during the view selection of the SAP Material Master Creation screen.

Uncheck the field shown here to prompt for the Org Structures ( SAP Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and Plant ) during SAP Material Master Creation.

I am encountering an error message “The alternative unit of measure is the same as the base unit of measure.”

I have used the same unit of measure because the question says so. And FYI, i have used Pieces as the unit of measure for both base unit and sale unit.

We should enter a Sales Unit of Measure if it is different from the Base Unit of Measure. Thats why SAP is giving that error message.

The same also applies Purchase Unit of Measure of other units of measure as well.
