Database Table Contents in SAP

This article explains how to maintain ( create and view ) entries in SAP database tables.

Insert Data into the table

1. Goto ABAP Dictionary – [SE11] and enter the name or Select the database table that you want to insert the data into and click on the Change button.

2. Go to Utilities -> Table Contents -> Create EntriesCreate Entries in database

Display/View Data in a table

1. Goto ABAP Dictionary and enter the name or select the database table tat you want to view and click on the display button.

2. Goto Utilities -> Table Contents -> Display OR click on this button.Database Browse Button

3. Enter the selection criteria and execute ( or hit the F8 button ) to get the contents of the database.contents of database

4. Or you can go directly to browsing the contents of the table with transaction code SE16, enter the table name and enter the selection criteria and hit execute.
